Hello guys,

I have an addess field in a PowerApps form - if possible I'd like to see a list of addresses as soon as the user starts typing in some info(ie - if the user types in "123", a list like "123  St New York, NY", "123  Ave Brooklyn, NY" would display beneath the texbox, as it would in say, Google) using bing map or google map.

I am learner in PowerApps please help me ....

Thanks in advance.

    Hi @Vaibhav_Shukla

You can create a combobox control for doing so. You can set the PrimaryText and the SearchFields out of your data source and this will search the items automatically.MicrosoftTeams-image (28).png

    Hope this Helps!

    Hi @Vaibhav_Shukla

This is not doable based on current powerapps platform capabilties. If you want this to be added as a feature, please raise an idea on: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/PowerApps-Ideas/idb-p/PowerAppsIdeas

    Hi @Vaibhav_Shukla ,

Do you want to display the related address point within Bing Map or Google Map based on the value you entered in Address field in your app?

Based on the needs that you mentioned, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs within PowerApps currently.

If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:
    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/PowerApps-Ideas/idb-p/PowerAppsIdeas

I had the same requirement and achieved it using the Loqate API. I did a video on the subject that shows how it works:

The Loqate API is really easy to use. You need to use flow to talk to Loqate and pass the addresses back to Power Apps.

    Hello,

Auto suggest for the Address Input component is now available. As soon as you start typing an address, there should be address suggestions in a drop down. Please be sure that the address includes at least one numerical value for suggestions to show up.

Here is the more information on the address input component: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/geospatial-component-input-address.

    Thanks,

    Jessica

    Hello,

One needs an environment to enable this, but as I am only making this app to help my sister out with her job, I don't know how the whole "environment" thing works. Could someone explain it to me please?

I need an environment to enable addresses in powerapps.

    Thank you,

    Daisy
