Yes, it is possible, you need to set up an Application Gateway.

In make.powerapps.com homepage, go to Dataverse > Connection > SharePoint

Then on the Prompt, select SharePoint On-Premise.

More details here on how to setup: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/canvas-apps/add-manage-connections

To add on the comment of @cha_cha.

Please do keep in mind that an on-premise Gateway will make the connector premium, even though you are connecting to SharePoint. Your users will need a per user or per app license.

Alternatively you could also choose for a pay-as-you-go option.

@cha_cha  Ok thanks for the info, so the Power Apps will not be available on-premises? we will be using the Power Apps which is inside office 365?

Second question, if we use the gateway will the users interact with SharePoint On-premises using their credentials or using the credential specified inside the Authentication inside the connection?

    Hello @johnjohn123

If you meant having Power Apps run within your organization's physical premise, no. The Power Apps will still run on the cloud which is included with your Office365 package.

However, please note, as mentioned by @LaurensM you will need a premium license in order for you to use the Gateway so ensure that you discuss the financial matter before proceeding. A premium license starts at 5$/user/app/month. This is best discussed with your IT service provider so you can further understand the pricing structure.

For the second question, there are two types of Gateways, One that is Shared, and one that is personal. If you opt for the Shared One, install it on a computer in a DMZ(demilitarized zone) in your network for security purposes.
