Share point Choice Data type column value not getting populated to Power apps drop down

Hi Team,

I have a SharePoint list with several fields, one of which is a Choice DataType.  I created a Data source pulling from that list. The Choice field is not populating as an available field for me to add to the drop down list in power apps. What is the trick to making this field available for use?

Thank you

Is the formula on the Items property of the Gallery?

    Distinct (Choices (Datasource.ColumnName), ColumnName)

    Hi @Anonymous ,

The Choices() function can provide a list of available choices, and there is no need to Distinct function if all choices are unique.

In addition, I suggest you use Combobox, instead of Dropdown, and then set the Items property of Combobox as follows.

    Choices('Issue Notifications'.'Feedback on Issue')

PS. the correct Distinct syntax is Distinct(Choices('Issue Notifications'.'Feedback on Issue'),Value)

    Hope this helps.
    Sik
