Modern Como box showing filtered people column

Hi, I have a Sharepoint list that has a people picker column that I want to use as choices in a combo box.
 
I am setting the Items property to:
Choices([@'CRISP PTS Designated Approver'].PTSDesApproverPerson)
 
The combo box items includes ALL people in the org - I would expect that to occur when adding a new record to the sharepoint list; however, not in Power Apps combo box. I want to see only unique people in that column across all records. 
 
Is there a way to filter to only show the values in the people column for each record?

    There are some ways to make it. for example. you could try.
    For your  ComboBox.Items
    Distinct(
      'CRISP PTS Designated Approver',
      PTSDesApproverPerson.DisplayName
    )
