Hello everyone,
I wanted to know if I can create a relationship between parent and child elements say for example on a lookup field. If I select parent 'X' than all child 'X' options will appear, and if I select parent 'Y' all of child 'Y's options will appear.
If this is unclear I will I further elaborate.

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?
Do you want to edit an parent record, then all related child records would be shown up within the LookUp field?
Based on the needs that you mentioned, I think the "Related Records Filtering" option for the LookUp field in your Entity form in classic experience mode could achieve your needs.
