Can anyone recommend free editable forms templates?
Are there any available free templates?
The Form component is editable, you only need to unlock it in the advanced settings. Scrolling down on your PowerApps Home Screen you will see some templates. If you ask me, they are more to demonstrate functionalities, as most are quite complex and hard to ‘redecorate’ for when you just started using PowerApps.

I can help you, but I guess you need to be a bit more exact about “better and more business like”. Could you share a screen shot of anything you like?
Here's my form. The gallery on the left panel. The editable form "details of the record" on the right. What I'm looking for is to spruce up the editable form. I'm no designer are there better looking forms out there that I can download?
I’m not aware of any templates for “spruced up” forms. Again, these are not really clear requirement I would say. The only thing I could advise you is to go to your settings and switch to the use of modern controls. They are bit more fancy than the classic ones you are using now.
