Error Restoring Previous App Versions

I want to restore a previous version of my app but the following error message shows:
Restore failed. 'App Name' is locked by My Name (MyName@email.com).

I already tried closing the tabs where the my app was open but still it is not letting me restore the previous version.

Thank you for any help

    Hi @JohnB_13,

The following may fix that issue: (1) Open the app again, you will probably get the message that the app is opened in read mode, (2) select override, (3) save and (4) close the app by using the back arrow within the Power Apps editor (not closing the tab).

If this solves your question, would you be so kind as to accept it as a solution & give it a thumbs up.

    Thanks!

Restore Failed Error: 'Sharing and Saving Demonstration' is locked by…

I see that this is a very old issue, and perhaps you have already found another answer.

In case it is useful, here is the error I got and the steps I followed.

When trying to revert to a previous version of an app I get the following error:
Restore failed. 'Sharing and Saving Demonstration' is locked by [user name] (<null>)
    • I have realized that when I click “See more options for version management” it opens a new tab with the list of versions, which is when I get the Restore Failed error.
    • If I go back to the original tab, close version management, and use the “Back” button inside the Power Apps part of the screen to leave the app (confirming that I do want to leave the app), then when I click over to the new tab with the “more options for version management” on display, I can choose to restore a previous version and it will successfully restore that version and save it as a new version.
I am not sure how important it is that a new tab was automatically opened, and whether a change in browser settings will allow/prevent this from happening or the solution from being useful.

I am also uploading a PDF file with screenshots and more detail.
