I'm building a low-code agent using Microsoft Copilot Studio under a licensed setup. The agent uses a SharePoint page as its knowledge source. When users ask questions, the agent responds accurately and includes reference links. However, clicking these links currently redirects users to the top of the SharePoint page, rather than to the specific section containing the relevant information.
The expected behaviour is for the link to navigate directly to the corresponding section of the page, allowing users to view the answer without needing to scroll.
For example, for the question “What are compliance-with-standards?”, the agent replies with: https://sharepoint.com/sites/Sample/SitePages/What-is-the-Acquisition-Manual-.aspx
From the agent configuration perspective in Microsoft Copilot Studio, how can we enable responses to include section-specific anchor links when referencing a SharePoint page? The goal is for users to be directed straight to the relevant section of the page, rather than landing at the top. Any guidance, configuration steps, or examples would be greatly appreciated!
SharePoint supports anchor links.
