I have a component library and an canvas app. We have imported both to a new solution and now I can no longer add components from the library to the canvas app.
When I go to 'Get more components' it says that there are no component libraries.
From what i am seeing it might be because we moved to a different environment and although the library is in the new solution, it is not in the new environment somehow. Is it not possible for the canvas app to see the library when it is in the solution? and needs to be in the environment? how can i add the library to the environment view?
any help on this?
Hey madeg, I've just got this resolved. Been banging my head against a wall on this today!
The owner of the Component Library needs to share it with you.
Although we have access to edit/modify it the Component Library from the Solution explorer, the Component Library still needs to be shared with yourself so you can search/use/add the components into your app.
After the owner shared the component library with me (I was also made the co-owner) I was able to search and add the components into my app.
