Hello users,
I'm building a canvas power apps form using a data verse table. I have multiple environments and would like to use environmental variables. I was trying to create an environmental variable for the table I'm using for my canvas app. I create name and choose Microsoft Data verse, I see only environments (dev, prod). How do I assign a table to that variable. Any suggestions or help please?
Thanks in advance!
@KrishR
Let's say you have a table in dataverse and you have a canvas app in Dev environment, so ideally you will have both the app and table in a solution and then when you move to production you should move the solution with the table and the app.
You don't need to have an environment variable for that and I still may be getting what you need wrongly.
Hi @Mira_Ghaly ,
Thanks for the quick response and for your information. So, will the table from the dev environment be migrated to another environment (lets day Prod) while moving the package ?
And Is that a Yes or No for the question if we can create environmental variables for tables in data verse?
Thank you,
Krish
You can bundle tables and environment variables along with any model driven or canvas app in your solution.
