Record creation issue in Power Apps with D365 F&O

Currently I want to do Power Apps integration to D365 F&O.

During testing, we found that some fields are not editable when creating new record in some tables at Power Apps side.

We checked the fields property that has 'Allow Edit' No and 'Allow Edit On Create' Yes in VS for D365 F&O.

The fields are expected to be editable when creating new records.

Anyone has idea about this issue?

    Hello @EthanZ ,

Integrating Power Apps with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) can sometimes lead to unexpected behaviors, such as fields being non-editable when they should be. This issue can stem from various configurations and settings within both Power Apps and D365 F&O. Here are some steps and considerations to help you troubleshoot and potentially resolve this issue:

Verify the field properties in D365 F&O to ensure they are set correctly:

    • Allow Edit: Should be set to No if the field should not be editable after the record is created.
    • Allow Edit On Create: Should be set to Yes if the field should be editable when creating new records.

Once validated we can go further.
