Hi there, quick question here:

when you insert a form and select the source, in my case SPL, power apps does a bunch of things for you like inserting the data cards etc, this is good. But my problem is I don’t like the way that the data is organized in the layout like columns or vertical etc, I would like to insert a big square “form” and then place every data card in the position that I want like for instance insert a rectangle in the top left side corner and add on top 3-4 data cards, them another square different color size and add more data cards.

After the layouts are complete just hit the save for the submit(form).

if I do it manually then I have to patch one by one and create all that long lines of code .

is there any easy way to get this done?

thanks for getting the time reading this

There is no way to have a completely free-form placement of controls in a form.  But there are some workarounds to allow for more control.  Forms flow fields into locations from top to bottom and left to right based on the columns setting.  So if you set the columns count to 4 and adjust the width of the first 4 controls they will fit across the top row of the form.  If the 5th control is set to have a width equal to the width of the form then it will span all 4 columns and push the 6th column to the third row.  And so on.  So by adjusting the number of columns and the width settings of each data card you can get a more complex arrangement such as the one you want.

    Hi @sajarac

You can also turn off the snap to columns feature to give you more flexibility in sizing your cards in the form and moving them around
