My PowerApps Items Choices Not Updating

I have two Lists 'Form Entry' and 'Approvers List'. My powerapps is built to update 'Form Entry'
I have a Edit Form dropdown with Items dropdown formula :

Filter(Choices([@'Form Entry'].field_20)
, Value in Filter('Approvers List', Hospital = varHos).'Approver (Approver0)'
)

The formula filters options from 'Approvers List' available to select in the dropdown based on the variable 'varHos'.

However when I update my Approvers List with a new row of data my choices does not update in power apps. Ive tried refreshing data within power apps and refreshing lists etc. but no avail. Anyone know why this wont update.

Hi @newuser6,

Normally a simple refresh of the main list (in this case 'Form Entry') would be enough. In this case we are also filtering the choice options based on the Approvers List, so we will have to refresh both lists.

Refresh('Form Entry'); Refresh('Approvers List')

You can provide the user with a manual refresh button or refresh after adding the new record. Please keep in mind that your newly added record will need to match your condition 'Hospital = varHos' in order to be displayed.

Soon after I posted I realised what the error was. I was adding rows to my Approvers List. But my Form Entry list column was a choice entry field. The choices in power apps were not updating because they were not valid choices. They had to be added to the list of choices in Form Entry as well as a new row in Approvers List
