Deploy to a copilot in Copilot Studio throws a NetworkError

I have a chatbot built in Azure OpenAI Studio and trying to deploy it today in Copilot Studio. The last time I tried to deploy and was successful was on September 6, 2024. I haven't tried deploying until today, which is now throwing a NetworkError. (see screenshot at the bottom)

Even after several browser reloads and reopens, logouts and re-logins, used incognito window, I still encounter the same error.

Has anyone encountered the same and found a resolution?

    Hello,

Sometimes, local network restrictions or firewalls can block certain API requests, which may result in a "Network Error." This could also happen if the network you're connected to has updated its policies.

Also If the authentication between Azure OpenAI Studio and Copilot Studio is not working properly, the error might be due to expired or invalid tokens, even if you re-log into your account. This can happen if the user token/session expires and doesn't automatically refresh.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

When attempting to deploy to a Copilot in Copilot Studio, encountering a NetworkError can be frustrating. This issue often occurs due to a variety of network-related problems, such as connectivity issues, server downtime, or misconfigurations within the deployment settings.

    Possible Causes of the NetworkError:

    1. Unstable Internet Connection:
A weak or unstable internet connection may interrupt the deployment process, resulting in a NetworkError.

    2. Server Downtime:
If the Copilot Studio servers are experiencing downtime or maintenance, deployments may fail to connect properly, leading to this error.

    3. Proxy or Firewall Issues:
If your network is behind a proxy or firewall, it may be blocking access to Copilot Studio’s deployment servers. This can prevent proper communication and trigger a NetworkError.

    4. Configuration Errors:
Incorrect API keys, authentication credentials, or deployment settings may also lead to network errors.

    Solutions:

    • Check Your Internet Connection: Ensure your network is stable and retry the deployment.
    • Verify Deployment Settings: Double-check your configuration and credentials.
    • Contact Support: If the issue persists, reaching out to Copilot Studio’s support team may help resolve server-side or configuration-related issues.

Addressing these common causes should help resolve the NetworkError during deployment.
