What's the issue with the Email column in the Account table?

I'm building a canvas app with the standard table 'Account'. I'm trying to use a form to submit records, but I'm having trouble with the email fields. The data card has no update option, and it looks like it's not possible to use it. As far as I understand, the column is of the Email type. Does this column have some special restrictions? Do I need to create a custom column to submit account emails?

    Hi @FedericoC

I am not sure why you aren't seeing it, but no it doesn't. I don't know what you mean by the datacard has no update option?

But no Email is not locked down, so are you sure the form is in Edit mode and the card?

Anyhoo i just tested and its fine.

    Hello, thanks for the reply.

I uploaded a screenshot, and you can see that there is no Update option in the Email data card (I forgot to mention that I'm using new forms).

After your suggestion, I tried with a classic form, and I see the Update option now, but there are some errors.

EAVResult? I wonder what that means

I have noticed this on the new form as well, it sometimes hides the Update property but it will reappear if you save, close the editor and re-open. Sometimes I’ve had to push the authoring version forward so that it displays, looks like it’s occasional bug in the code.
