Can you copy code between different apps?

I am going to create an app that will one day be transferred to another app my company uses and was wondering if there is a way to copy and paste or export portions of an app into another app. If so is there any good up to date information on how to do this?

    I know you can copy/paste if you have both apps open side by side. You may want to look into Wrapping your app, I'm not sure how it works but I heard about it last week and it might help? I'm not 100% sure
