Hello,
I have a DateValue in a form. I have set that to current date. If I change the date and go back to the previous page and then click on the edit form again, it shows the date I have selected and not the current date. For example: If I selected 15th of September, go back to the previous page and then come back, it still shows 15th of September and not 11th of September. How do I change it back without using Reset button?
Please advice
Thank you
Kind Regards,
Tilak
Morning,
So it sounds as if they have selected the date, but have not saved (the form), and instead went back to the previous screen.
How did they go back? Did they click an icon or a button and you navigate? If so, I would make a change there. If they are going back and haven't done anything than you would want to set the date back to the current date.
Although I am curious. You said without resetting it. Personally the proper way to do it would be.
In the navigate back to the previous page, if they haven't saved, then do a Reset(control) and or drive the Default value based on a context variable in that screen, and reset the context variable to the default value you want it to.
Cheers
