    Hi,

The error you're encountering typically arises when an action within the flow requires a connection reference that hasn't been configured.

You can resolve this in one of two ways:

    1. From the Custom Copilot: (where the error occurred)

    i) Open the Custom Copilot where the error has occurred. You will see an option for Open Connection Manager.

Click on it, and you will be prompted to connect the action to a connection reference.

Once the connection is established, ensure that you select the corresponding action that should use this reference.

ii) After that, you can click the Retry button in the Copilot chat. Since the connection reference is now in place, the action should execute successfully and return the expected result.

    2. From the Power Automate Flow (Recommended)

This is the more reliable method, as once the connection reference is configured here, it won’t prompt again unless the flow is re-published.
    i) Open your Power Automate flow and scroll down to the “Run Only Users” section. Click the Edit button to open the side pane.
ii) In the pane, locate the flow action with the default connection reference. If it shows “Provided by run-only user”, click to change it and select the appropriate connection reference you want to use.

iii) Once this is saved, re-test by asking the same question in Teams. The flow should now execute without prompting for a connection reference.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks!
