Hi all,
when I open my app, a message appears: "nameapp is available for offline use". How can I disable this message ? Thanks in advance
This was happening to me all day yesterday on the phone app and was also not updating my apps very quickly. I was still able to use the app and the app even saved data to my data source but then would tell me it was offline. Not sure where that message is coming from all the sudden. I just checked and I am still getting that notify message as well. If I find anything about it I will update here.
EDIT: this seems to be a thing happening to alot of people right now.

Hopefully an answer will pop up on one of these soon.
That appears to be something new. The point is that to use an app offline it has to be loaded on the mobile device and be designed to work with data stored in collections. I think this is a new message to let you know the app has been cached on the device. I don't think there is a way to disable the message, but clicking on it will close it.
This seems to be the consensus on what is going on.
"I have a couple of offline based canvas apps (by design) and I've never seen this. However, I have found it necessary for my users to poke around the apps for a couple of minutes when I push updates to them to ensure they won't go be out in the field and have their tablet say it needs to be online to access them... maybe they are trying to make it more friendly in that way by telling you it's been fully cached." - translinguistic on Reddit on the topic
This is causing me serious issues with an app that is not developed for offline use using LoadData / SaveData. Does anyone know how to turn it off? In model driven apps there is a setting for this but I can not find it for Canvas apps.
I submitted a ticket linking this page and others... So annoying that they would have a recurring notification that affects EVERY user that cannot be disabled... This has led to too much unnecessary confusion for my app users which is supposed to be utilized ONLINE
We have the same issue. If I publish a new version of an app the user updates the app then gets that crazy message. Old versions of apps also have the same message being displayed for no reason.
MICROSOFT please fix !!!!!!
