Context
I'm learning how to build a business process flow and I am following the steps here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/modules/advanced-business-process-flows/4-exercise and I am trying to add a Choice column (end of step 4):

Details

When I am editing the Choices I get this message:

It looks like Local choice is selected for me.

Issue

When I try to save the table I get this error message: "The table could not be updated: The schema name paymentmethod for type OptionSet is invalid or missing.Custom attribute, entity, entitykey, option set and relationship names must start with a valid customization prefix. The prefix for a solution component should match the prefix that is specified for the publisher of the solution.."

I am not sure how to proceed. The generated column name has the same prefix as my other columns. Any advice/pointers would be appreciated.

I have the same question (0)

    Hello @Jan-Rienk,

Hope you are doing good. You are getting an Error because the Prefix for paymentmethod  is invalid.

Try doing below steps to overcome from the issue

    1. Navigate to https://make.powerapps.com

    2. Click Solutions

    3. Create a new Solution --> Make Sure you are selecting correct publisher

    4. Once Created --> Click Add Existing --> Select Table --> Select the Table and Click Ok

    5. Click Create a New Column --> Enter the Name and Select Type as Choices --> Select Global or Create new Optionset --> then Save.

At first I got the same result, but when I chose Choices instead of Choice I was able to save the table.
