Hi All,

I do not want to create the table manually…I want to use Power automate FLOW to create the table and import the JSON data from Azure storage account or Sharepoint.

Regards,

Ravi.H

There is no dedicated connector for creating new tables (entities), but it should be possible to call Web API using standard power automate connector for HTTP requests. See more information here. I hope this solves your problem!

How to use web api to create Dataverse table.

Business Requirement - I have extracted the lotus notes data into Json format. Using the Json data I need to create the DV table using power automate. Do not want to create manually.

    In that case:

    • Open Microsoft Excel, go to Data -> Get data -> From File -> From JSON, and transpose your JSON data into table format.
    • Create manually a table in Dataverse that reflects your Excel data format. It is way much easier to do this once manually instead of creating automation that does this instead of you.
    • Import data from your Excel file into the previously created Dataverse table

Yes, it is. Here is the documentation and sample. Using this feature makes sense only if you are going to create multiple tables continuously. In your case it looks like you have to do this only once, to prepare the data structure for import.
