Hey all,

I want to create an approval flow which gets trigger from power apps.

and I have used the approval action on power apps screens.

How to I send mail to the next approver based on the first approval through Microsoft automate?

    Hi @AdityaRana ,

If the current page is the first person to approve the screen, whether he rejects or approves, the flow will be triggered, and the event will go to the next approval, then you can refer to the following method.

1.Create a flow or add an existing flow:

    2.The flow:

The input can be used to save the result of first person, and you can insert it in details of next approval.

Also, you can add outcome of previous approval in next approval.

    3.Formula on reject/approve button:

    OnSelect:

    FlowName.Run(Self.Text)

    Best regards,

    Hii @ v-mengmli-msft

    Thanks for your quick response.

Can we leave the 'assigned to' field as empty? As it is shown mandatory.

If we click button in power apps, how will it affect the approval flow?

    Can you explain the logic.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Aditya Rana

    Hi @AdityaRana ,

The 'assigned to' filed is required, it can't be blank because the approval must have a recipient looks like email.

When user clicks approve/reject button, the flow will be triggered.

The first "start and wait an approval" action will send approval to A, the second approval will be sent to B after A approve/reject the first approval.

You can also modify the type of approval and customize choices and details.
