Hello team,
I have the requirements and configured many ways (sub-grid in metadata of the web form steps, parent-child entity permission, standalone permission for each entity) still - I am not able to see the second entity in sub-grid (primary entity is configured by web forms step).
1/ Primary entity: account (OOB)
2/ Secondary entity: family (custom).
Entity relationship: Account 1:N Family.
Req: record of family will be shown in the Account entity sub grid on PowerApps portals.
Web form steps configuration:

Please suggest if you have any idea/suggestion about this.
Thanks.
@EricRegnier
Thanks man. I changed to another custom entity to go forward on this.
Thanks a lot for your help.
Does the account you are trying to access is parent account of the user's account? If switching to Global permission solves the issue that means that your current permission is not applicable to the account you are trying to access. Please validate that contact is related to the account through the relationship that you defined.
Update 1:
If I change the scope of the account entity from Account -> Global - all the child record can be view as usual.
Not sure what is the actual issue here 😞
Could someone please enlighten me?
I also considered the conflict of the OOB entity permissions of Account entity (from Customer Self Service portal) and deactivate all the entity permissions that relates to the Account entity on it. However, before and after deactivating the results are the same.
Thank you Eric and OOlashyn,
I forgot this important part, please take a look in the screenshot below:
The parent permission for Account entity:

Thank you.
Hi @lucasluong,
As @OOlashyn mentoined, have a look at your entity/table permission setup. Here's the MS doc page for more details: https://docs.microsoft.com/powerapps/maker/portals/configure/entity-permissions-studio
Cheers
Hi @lucasluong ,
As far as I understand on this step user should see a sub grid of records right? The error clearly shows that there is some issue with table permissions. Can you share with us your permissions configuration for family and account tables?
@OOlashyn @ragavanrajan
Please help me on this. Thanks.
