Save button in the form

Hi I have a SharePoint site and I give a specific user permission read in site leave. also, I have a list in the site and I give this user edit permission in list level.

after the user insert the data in the form and when I click on save the form is hold and didn't save.

your advice is appreciated

Hi @alhilo

Just to confirm what you're saying, when both you and your other user attempt to insert a record, the form doesn't save the record. In other words, the form doesn't save for all users?

Also, is this on a customised SharePoint form or have you created an app that's based on this SharePoint list?

I am the site owner and I have full control for the list.

I can save without any problem while the users who have visitor(read) in the site permission and edit for the list can't save

It sounds like you've configured the list security correctly by granting the users edit permissions.

To diagnose this further, can you check if the users are able to create records directly in SharePoint? That would confirm that SharePoint is set up correctly.
