Using Pre-built templates

I am very new to Power Apps.  I logged into make.powerapps.com.  "Start with an app template" option.  Selected "Leave Request"
How do connect it to a Dataverse table(s)?  How do I know what tables are needed and that fields the app will need in the table(s)?  I asked CoPilot and it said to read the code.  But it was not very helpful.  I tried checking the properties of the different fields on the screens but there was no usable inof.
I get a message on the top banner

When i click on "Make my own app", it wants me to select a file in OneDrive.  I do not want this on my personal space.  Eventually, the database needs to be in a shared space with security.  That is why I was trying to make the tables in Dataverse.  There is no Data or Tables in this app. The tree view only has screens.  The PowerUp course did not have instructions on how to do this.  The demo of the app looks like it is exactly what I need.

Is there a tutorial of how to use the pre-built apps?  I haven't found any that would be of use for me.

    hey

if you really want to learn powerapps i would recommend to build it by your own.

use this video as references so you can follow along:

the columns needed depends on your use case and you would need to talk to the department you are buildung it for.
