Can you get the Record ID on a Power Pages Insert form where it is created. We need to use it in a Java script on the onbeforeUnload event.

This feature is a preview feature.

Preview features aren’t meant for production use and may have restricted functionality. These features are available before an official release so that customers can get early access and provide feedback.

    Thank you.

Can you point me to any documentation that explain this in more depth?

    Thank you

Can you please expand on that answer?

Not really sure of what you mean.

If you are intending to create other records etc then a workflow or plugin (also Flow is currently Preview and as such is not suitable for Production use yet). But note, even realtime will not break the portals cache if you are creating/updating a secondary record e.g. if you creating an Account, then on Next you updated a field on the Account in realtime the field update will be there on the next page as Account is the primary record. but if on the Next you created a Case record that case would probably not be available on the next step - this is because Case would be considered a secondary record and it won't automatically push into the portals cache when it is created (same applies for an Update).

    Thanks,

I didn't know that Business Rules was supported in Power Pages?

I will look in to that.

Power Automate might not be best option for this scenario.

Are you able to achieve what you need using real-time workflow or business rule?

    Alternatively, a plug-in is a good option.

    Hi,

We want to run a Cloud flow from Power Pages (Preview) that updates Dataverse on the first stage and load the new values on the second stage.

The record will be created once you advance to the second stage. Can you implement your logic there?

Why do you need the ID before creation?

    Thank you
We want to use a multi step form so that approach will not work.
