Changing model driven app icon does not reflect in app list

When viewing list of apps in from browser it properly shows. But in the mobile client on the ipad, it still shows the default 2 blue rectangles.
Only canvas app custom icon shows in the mobile client view. Is this the standard behavior?

    Yes, this is currently the standard behavior in the Power Apps mobile client. While custom icons for Canvas apps display correctly on mobile devices, Model-driven apps do not support custom icons in the mobile client, and they instead show the default blue rectangles as placeholders
