Copilot studio adaptive card is not able to send card data

We created an agent using Copilot Studio and published it in Microsoft Teams. The agent performs adaptive card tasks. In personal chats, the adaptive card actions send data via a backend HTTP call successfully. However, in group chats, while the adaptive card appears, it fails to send data to the backend after clicking the submit button.

    Personal chats typically return invoke activities from adaptive card submissions directly to the bot. In group or channel contexts, you must handle these invoke activities—often as adaptiveCardInvoke events—within your agent .

    There seems to be some difference between how copilot behaves in Personal chats and group chats. The bot's permissions might be limited or not configured to handle certain group interactions.
    Ensure that the bot has the necessary permissions to operate in group chats. Sometimes, permissions that work in personal chats might not be sufficient for group chats.
     
    Check if the backend endpoint is accessible from the group chat context. There might be network or security settings that differ between personal and group chats.
