Can not create PowerAutomate Action from PVA for Teams

Hi all,

when I create a bot in teams and create an action (PowerAutomate), this flow (after saving) is not shown in the bot topic.

Does someone have an idea what I might be doing wrong?

It should work, but as a workaround if you create a flow in that Team using the Power Apps client in Teams and use the PVA trigger and Respond to PVA it should show up.

Are you sure you are adding both the PVA trigger and the Respond to PVA bot? It requires both and only flows with that trigger will show up in the PVA client in Teams.

Hi @Pstork1 thanks for you reply.

Yes, I did create both here:

I did save the flow, went back to PVA but its not showing up.

As I said you can try creating it in the Power Apps Teams client as a workaround.  You can also look at the solution in the Team environment using the regular Power Automate client.  The flow you created should be in the "Common Data Services Default Solution". If it didn't get saved there then that would be why its not showing up.

    Hi,

I saw that all the "Templates" are affected except for the "Power Virtual Agents Flow Template". This one can be used as the Flow created from that one will be visible in the list.

The root cause of the problem is that the Flows of the affected Templates are not by-default created in a "Solution".

The working Template creates the Flow in a "Solution" and thus, it is visible to pick in the list at the PVA Bot.

I had to create the Flow via the working Template and manually add any Actions there.

    This does work for me.

    Two comments

    1) The only flows that will show up inside PVA start and end with a PVA trigger and a PVA response.  If you create a flow from inside PVA that doesnt' use that Trigger it won't show up. There are a number of PVA templates that fit that requirement.  They all work.  Other templates will not.

    2) The client used to create the flow determines what solution the flow will go in. Flows created from either the PVA or Power Apps client inside Teams will be in the right Teams environment solution. Flows created in the Power Automate client in Teams don't go to the right Teams environment no matter what Template you use.
