How to use virtual entity (From Environment A) to get data from another Environment (Environment B)?

Hi Guys,

I got 2 Entities (Entity A, EntityB)  in one Environment (let's say Environment A) then I got a few more environments (Environment B, Environment C).

Now I like to create "virtual Entity" for both Entities (Entity A, EntityB) in Environment B & Environment C.

I'm looking for some step by step help.

* I already managed to follow the below URL, and I know what to do for a public OData feed, but I don't know How to do it for one Dynamic 365 Environment to another Dynamic 365 Environment.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @Anonymous,

That depends on what part you would like to migrate.

If only for the data, then we could just export the data into Excel from Environment A, then import that into Environment B. For large data migration, consider take use of SSIS ETL.

If here you would like to create the corresponding entity with the customizations from Environment A to Environment B, the suggested way is to use the Environment Solution Export/Import.

    For the steps, see:

    Export/Import solutions with CDS Customizations

    Best regards,
