Gallery Navigation As Trigger

Hi,

Is there a place I can code the standard gallery navigation "next" and "back" buttons? It is not selectable to view all it's properties.

I'd like it to update and refresh another gallery when an action like onChange or onPress occurs.

I'm just not sure if it's possible.

thank you,

    Hi @SkyB

ou would need to get the Index of the selected record.
A possible way to do this is to create an indexed collection of the gallery in the OnVisible of the second screen.

    ID

    Index
    251
    322

This thread explains how you could create such an index collection.

Clicking on next would have the following code:

    Select(GalleryName, LookUp(colIndexedGallery, GalleryName.Selected.ID = ID).Index + 1)

This will change the GalleryName.Selected values.

    I hope this helps!

I understand what you have suggested.

When you say "Clicking on next..." are you referring to an added button or icon or the native "next" arrow ?
Maybe, I'm trying to simply attach a script to the native "next" arrow... OnSelect -> UpdateContext( { varVisible: true } ) and it's not an option in Power Apps.

Thank you for responding with a possible solution. I'm currently not gifted enough YET, to get it to work lol.
