Submit form not working on new form - dataverse

Hello All!

I have an issue with my submit form button... so I have a gallery with dataverse table as a source and I want to add/update records. I have added a form to edit information from a gallery but also I want the same form to be able to add a new record to the gallery (so also a new record in my table). When I added a new form the update records option works fine. When I try to create a new one, it is displaying error:

Does anyone know please why it's showing an error? Is it different on dataverse?

Hello @marcy_pi ... This error comes up sometimes, and it usually comes when you have a complex or people column you intend to update or save using patch functions.

Can you elaborate a little bit on what exactly you want to save, and if you are using a normal submit function or patch function.

Hello, sure and thank You for Your interest.

I have a contractors list in my gallery and next to it there is a form1_1 as shown below.

'Submit' button -> OnSelect -> SubmitForm(Form1_1)

'New Contractor' button -> OnSelect -> ResetForm(Form1_1);NewForm(Form1_1);

When clicking on record in gallery, the form1_1 changes to all info about the record and when I make changes to a record I click Submit button - this works fine and I can see changes to a record straight away in my gallery. When I click on 'New contractor' I can see a blank form and if I fill it in I get the error mentioned before.
