Dataverse approval table user permission

I made a Power Automate flow to reassign approvals using dataverse.

I create a new record in the table 'approval requests' and I mark the previous record to inactive - reassigned.

All steps are the same as I would manually reassign an approval, so the data is okay in the tables.

Only problem: the person to whom the approval is reassigned can only view the record in the approval request table, but not the header record in the approval table. That's why, they cannot see the approval in power automate or in the teams approvals app.

There has to be a missing step that gives the user the permissions to view the approval also and not only the request. For manual reassignments, there is no problem. If I recreate it in dataverse using power automate there lacks some permission.

Does anyone know how to fix this please?

    Hey,

I am glad you found my content. Speaking about the permissions, double check the new assignee is granted "approval user" security role.

    Regards,

    Tomasz

    thanks for replying

are these security roles also manageable on the record instead of in the environment?

    It would be per environment.

The user has the approvals user role.

The user actually has the approvals user role on the request record, but not on the approval record.

How can I share the record through the flow?

okay, I used the 'perform an unbound action' to grant access.

It works now, but the approver doesn't get a notification in teams.

The approval is visible in teams, but you don't get a notification.

    How is this managed?
