Hello every one,

I am trying to connect CoPilot studio to Oracle On-Premise database as a Knowledge source. I've made the connection in Admin Center under Search & Intelligence - Data sources and were able to indexed my data.
However, copilot studio cannot able to retrieve the results. I have given every one access to my connection. I am using trial license for CoPilot Studio. I'm not sure what i am missing here.
Please any help highly appreciated

Thank you
Faris

    Hello Faris,

I really understand this and I'm also not happy with it. But that's how it goes now - they're pushing everything to prod. MS states that preview features aren't meant for production, so they couldn't work and we may not know why, because we don't have the access to the codebase. :-)

    Best regards,

    Hi Faris,

I don't have any experience with the Oracle on prem connector that I can share.

However I did have similar issues with Dataverse tables and initially got terrible results. I re-read documentation and setup glossary definitions correctly and things went from not finding anything to answering questions with a high degree of accuracy very quickly, so if there's config options similar to glossary definitions it may be worth spending time there.

    Hello Artur,

Thank you for your suggestion really appreciate that.
However, I just have a concern that if they launched a preview feature, then it should work up to certain extent at least for testing purposes. In my case, CoPilot studio is not giving any information, no results are found. So, I'm not sure if it is because of preview version or there is something missed in the configuration.

Any articles or URL highly appreciated for On-Premises connectivity with Oracle DB in CoPilot Studio as a knowledge source

    Thank you,
    Faris

    Hello Faris,

it's still a preview feature (check out what preview is: https://copilottoday.com/what-is-a-preview-feature-in-microsoft-products/). I really suggest you to just wait for it to be stable, probably they just didn't end it yet.
However you can test it further if you like, but it's not suitable for prod.

In case of any other questions, let me know. If the answer helped you, mark it, so that others can benefit from it.

    Best regards,
