prvReadActivity permission needed for update of emailaddress1 in contact?

Hello everyone

Please be so kind as to read my full message before responding.
Thank you for your consideration.

I am currently setting up application user/security role/Postman examples for one CRM-third party system integration.
Unfortunately, update of emailaddress1 in contact seems to consistently fail.
I have assigned minimal permissions to the security role for the application user for the integration.
For some reason I don't understand, any attempt to update contact via API seems to trigger an error that the prvReadActivity permission is missing because of an entity quoteclose, apparently an activity.

I have never even heard of or used this entity and don't know what it's used for.
I don't understand why updating an email address in contact triggers an read attempt on quoteclose.
I have checked the registered contact plugins and workflows which might get triggered upon update of contact, but I have come up empty.

Any ideas, why an update of emailaddress1 causes an attempt to read quoteclose and how to get rid of it, if possible?

Thanks,
    Sa.

We do have the same problem with a Data Factory Migration Pipeline. Did you find a solution?
