Abandoned topic is triggered again at the end of the interrupting topic

I have a copilot studio topic T1 with a multi-options question configured to allow switching to another topic. When this question is asked and the user enters as a response a trigger phrase for another topic, the execution switches effectively to the new topic T2 as expected.
The problem is that at the end of the interrupting topic T2, the abandoned tropic T1 is triggered automatically.

Is this a normal behavior?

The only way I found to prevent this is to add "end all topics" node at the end of topic T2.

Is there another way yo prevent this ?

This is how our interruption feature works, it looks like you are already doing the suggested workaround. The one I would suggest is to do the end all topics and then redirect to a followup question like "Anything else?".

    Thanks for the confirmation!

This is what I suspected but I wasn't sure since it's not stated clearly in the documentation interruptions.
I ended up with a different strategy since we allow this question to be interrupted by any topic which would force us to apply this workaround to all topics.

Just to add some context, we grouped topics by theme and invite the user to drill down through top themes > top topics using multi-choice questions. We allow also the user to type his question directly if none the offered options suites his needs.

It would have been nice to be able to abadon the topic completly when the question is interrupted.

    Thanks again.

So you are asking for a request to allow interruptions, and do not return if interrupted? Perhaps also be able to say "dont return if these topics are the interrupers"?

Handling this from the interrupting topic is more or less possible now, as you and  I suggested, by adding "End all topics".
So yes, offering the option to completely abandon the topic if interrupted would be a nice addition and would allow you to control this behavior from one place instead of modifying all the interrupting topics.
