Bot doesn't provide any information about the documents (word and pdf) I saved in my SP. I created another bot but this time using uploaded documents (same ones saved in SP) instead and this process works. All permissions were properly set as I am able to sign in using the prompt.
How do I resolve this?
P.S. another bot has no issues generating answers coming from a public website
I'm encountering a similar problem where my co-pilot can't access the site files. During the app registration process, I enabled scopes [Files.Read.All, Sites.Read.All, and openid] , but I overlooked adding User.Read and profile scopes. Could this omission be the reason my co-pilot isn't functioning?
Thanks in Advance
It worked! Thank you!
Yes, consent is needed for those additional scopes as well.
I followed the steps in ms learn and those were the only items to be checked.
I'll give it a try and see how it goes.
Do I need Admin consent to these 2 scopes as well?
See here: Generative answers with Search and summarize - Microsoft Copilot Studio | Microsoft Learn
You are missing two scopes in your app registration and copilot authentication settings: Files.Read.All and Sites.Read.All
Without those scopes Copilot Studio will not be able to call graph search on behalf of the user.
I think it might be the Admin consent set currently to "No"? Here are the current details:
Gen Answers over SharePoint relies on Graph search, so if Graph API does not return any results, the copilot will not respond. See here on how to diagnose if that is the case. I suggest you share the app registration details and copilot authentication settings just in case.
