Hi all,

I am creating a canvas app on PowerApps. In this case, I am using the gallery and the data source is CDS. I added formula for the label on the gallery but that particular value is not sowing on the gallery. Please give me suggestions to fix this issue.

Thank You.

    Hi,

    Try ThisItem.Customer.'Customer Name'

    Any value that you want to display in the gallery, you will have to use the ThisItem. expression to access the property.

    Let me know if this helps.

    No problem. Do you have any other fields that are not lookups? For example, Unit maybe? Can you show me the expression for those fields?

    @PowerAddict

    I have one more field which is not look up. In this case, it's working. Only it's not working to look up.

    Thank You.

    I think I know what's going on here. Out of curiosity, is this an embedded canvas app?

    Add a few labels - one each for each lookup value. Don't worry about positioning or formatting them since we will set their visibility to false.

    I will use Customer Name as an example (you can replicate this for other lookups if this works):

    Text property of the label = First(Customers).'Customer Name'

    Let me know if this helps.

    Hi, @PowerAddict

    I tried this "First(Customers).'Customer Name'", But it returns only first record of the data source, Not selected one.

    Thank You.

    This is just for the label. The label is only to force the collection to load lookup values. Did you check if after adding this label, your lookup values showed up in the gallery? The label has to be outside the gallery.
