I have a simple 2 screen app created from blank. The first screen has a modern vertical gallery with items coming from a SharePoint list. One of the fields is a Yes/No field in SharePoint. When the user clicks on the gallery it navigates to the second screen where it displays the selected item with defaults set based on the selection. The on select action on the gallery has this code:

Set(varSelectedPackage,ThisItem);
Navigate(Screen2)
 
On Screen2, I have a classic checkbox and a modern checkbox but they both display differently even though the Default (for Classic) and Checked (for Modern) are set to:  
varSelectedPackage.Option1
 
On inspecting this, it shows true as being returned but yet I don't see that reflected in the modern checkbox displaying as ticked:
 
Anyone else notice this?

Many are facing the issue with respect to the Modern Checkbox control, I also came across some recent post in the forum too, the proposed to change authoring versions as a work around the issue

Hi, i had just tried to recreate your scenerio and it work perfectly..

I recommend taking the following actions:

Save the app, close it, then reload and test again.

PowerApps may have accumulated cache in the browser, so try publishing the app and testing it in live mode rather than the studio.

@EE-04041031-0, I tried doing that but it didn't help.

Unfortunately as of today the last authoring version that was working 3.25042.10 is gone and the checkboxes are not fixed.

Correct @elseb. I've now had to change all checkboxes to classic.
