Model Driven App. Setting Image field as business required using business rules

Hi, 

 

I have created a business rule to set an image field to business required based on the value of another field.

 

The rule is working however when trying to click save I receive the error. Sync workflow 'name of the business rule' terminated with error 'Attribute 'nameoftheimagefieldimage' cannot be NULL'.

 

Please note that the image field has an image uploaded and saved.

 

I am not sure if you have another proposed solution for this scenario.

    Never seen that one before, but the image col type is newer than business rules so not terribly surprising there is a bug in there.

     

    Maybe try setting your col to required by default, then use the business rule to set it to NOT required?
