Hello,
How to create Carousel cards in PVA now?
Regards
Yogesh
Hi @Yogesh3097,
Can you clarify a bit what you're trying to achieve and the challenge you're facing?
You can send multiple adaptive cards in a carousel format using these options:
Henry
Scenario:
I have list of adaptive card which has to be showed in a carousel format.
The number of adaptive cards used in carousel format is dynamic and the JSON format for all adaptive cards are same. Please provide a solution for this.
Thanks
Thank you @Yogesh3097,
It isn't possible today to have a dynamic number of attachments (i.e. adaptive cards, hero cards...).
A workaround is to create an adaptive card that will replicate a carousel behavior, and making it dynamic using Power Fx.
I have a working sample that I need to tidy up and share.
Hello @HenryJammes,
That would be great, If you share the powerFx. Please share me that sample. I am waiting for that.
And from that sample, Can I tweak the formula and use input.choiceset dynamically?
Hello @HenryJammes ,
Just a kind reminder, Could you please share that working sample?
I'll try and document something this week. Globally what it does is creating a single adaptive card that looks like a carousel and with toggle visibility rules allows to hide the current record, display the next one, etc.
Sure @HenryJammes, Please share that document once you finsihed.
Is there any update on the document, which we discussed earlier. It would be great, if you finished the document.
Sorry for the delay on this. Still need to do the write up and detailed explanation, but hopefully the below unblocks you.
This is the end result:
The content of dynamic is fully dynamic. I just use an input JSON data array (as a string variable to simplify).
I also used SVG's for the images, but the standard way is usually to use URLs.
I'm attaching in a ZIP the YAML content of the topic that you can paste in a new topic, in the code editor view, to have a look at it.
Could you please share a sample for dynamic values which has to be used in Input.choiceset and action.submit.
