Patch() not updating first of 8 forms properly

I am designing a checklist app with 8 forms to be submitted as one and each form has 7-10 multiple-choice questions with options Yes, No, NA.
So for the Onselect property of IconAccept on the 8th form, I've used the formula Patch(DataSource, EditForm1.Updates, EditForm2.Updates.......Editform8.Updates).
However the issue is that this formula only updates forms 2 to 8 properly on my Sharepoint list and on the default BrowseGallery1, while form 1 questions all have the same 3rd option "NA" filled in. The only difference between form 1 and form 2-8 is the Item property which is BrowseGallery1.Selected while the other forms' Item properties are EditForm(n-1).Updates.
My OnSuccess/Reset/Failure for all forms are set to false, I do not have any other formulas in place other than navigations.

Can someone help me understand why only the first form questions are all erroneously updated with the 3rd mcq option?

    Hi @gloomypika

The issue is reproduced on my side, and as one alternate solution, you can split your Patch function as this.

    Patch(datasource,EditForm1.Updates);Patch(datasource,EditForm2.Updates);...;Patch(datasource,EditFormN.Updates)

    Best Regards.
