I have several SharePoint Choice Columns that are checkboxes. As Requester wants people to be able to do multiple selections.
when I add the columns to the Canvas App they are comboboxes, how do I change them to checkboxes or some other control to allow multiple selections?

    Hi @SPS-DEV-22,

    By default a multi-select choice column is a combobox within Power Apps. Changing this to a checkbox mechanism will require some manual development. Reza has a great video on how to swap this to a multi-select checkbox.

    (Multi-Select checkboxes, starts at 9min40)

    If this solves your question, would you be so kind as to accept it as a solution & give it a thumbs up.

    Thanks!

    Ok, cool, so I guess the question is, how do I get the Dropdown box (ComboBox) to allow more than 1 slection?

    solved .. SelectMultiple = true

    @SPS-DEV-22,

    That will be dependent on your SharePoint choice column settings. (Under the assumption that you are using a form) A single-select choice column combobox will automatically only allow 1 choice, whereas a multi-select choice field will have multi-select enabled on the combobox.

    When editing your Choice field in SharePoint, select 'More options' and you should see a toggle stating 'Allow multiple selections'. That should be set to true, afterwards you can refresh your SharePoint Datasource in the app.

    I hope this helps!
