I tried to customize my gallery with 4 labels and for some reason I have a huge padding gap at the top of each template that I cannot get rid of. I've attached a screen print where you can see a huge gap above the first label. If I adjust the height then the labels for each record start to over lap. Is there something I'm missing?
You can help diagnose this by changing the fill of your Gallery to something like a light grey. It may help to even change the fill of your labels as well to another color. This will allow you to determine if the issue is indeed the gallery or the labels themselves.
Once that's narrowed down, you can check the padding for both. Gallery: TemplatePadding, Y. Label: PaddingTop, PaddingBottom, Y
Thanks for the tip but that isn't helping much that I can tell. There's no fill on the labels but I verified my top label has nothing above it. I set the template padding from 5 to 55 and colored the gallery green to show the template box. As you can see the template box is now padded inside the gallery with the 55, but inside the template there is still that huge gap between the first label and the top of the template. It's like there is another template property that I'm missing but I don't see anything else.
padding 55
What's the Y value for your first label?
I hate to admit this but the issue seems to be with the "align" option for the labels. I aligned one to the top and it jumped to the top of the template. I then changed all to align to the left and then manually moved them. Very strange.
