For my Shoutouts app i've given up connecting it to a SQL database (for now at least) so will keep it writing to an Excel spreadsheet.
However the spreadsheet is in my OneDrive, so not easily acccesible to the people who need to see it.
I know I need to Share it with everyone in order for people to 'write' to the database (i.e. use the app) but ideally I want the spreadsheet somewhere in SharePoint where IT and HR can access it.

Do you want to share your excel in your one drive?
Why don’t you create one share folder in your one drive and share?
If you want to share the excel in your SharePoint, you need upload this field and then add the person who need to read it into your SP member group.
You can also share as next.
