currency regional setting

Hi,

I have written a PowerApp based on SharePoint Tables. In SharePoint the regional setting is set to one country (where a decimal comma is used) but the currency in the PowerApp is using a decimal point instead of a decimal comma. On the desktop this is not a problem but the Android phone cannot capture anything after the decimal as it needs a comma instead of a point.

I have tried some of the other solutions shown in this community but I simply cannot get it to work.

I am new to PowerApp so it might be that I am doing something silly.

I will appreciate your assistance.

Are you using a Currency column in SharePoint? If yes, the recommended solution would be simply to change it to a Number type column instead.

If you are using a Number type column and its still not working this would be my suggested formula.

Text(ThisItem.CurrencyColumnName, "[$-en-US]#,##0.00", "en-US")

Note: You might need to change ThisItem.Currency to Parent.Default if the default value is being taken from the Card (in an Edit Form)

have you tried to change the "parent.default" (if you use a form) to
Text(parent.default, "[$-en-US]$#.###,00")
I don't have an android phone and couldn't check it on my side.
Also what datatype is your SharePoint column? Do you use the currency data type or number?

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my question.

I have changed the SPList to number with 2 decimals and added the following as Default: Text(ThisItem.Bedrag, "[$-en-GB]# ##0,00", "en-GB").
It displays the number without any decimals like this, 2,433. I am looking for 2 433,56, with the comma as the decimal.

I kept the SPList on number with 2 decimals and changed Default: Text(Parent.Default, "[$-en-GB]## ###,00"). On the Edit Form it is displayed as 2,434. When I go back to the Detail Form it is displayed as 2433.56. The settings on the Detail Form and the Edit Form for that field is the same.

I went back to the Site Settings in SharePoint and changed it to English (UK) but the results are the same.

On the Android phone it displays the edit form as 2 434 but without any decimals but the Detail Form displays it as 2434,56.

Oh, I refreshed the data sources every time I made changes.
