Hi experts,

I have a workflow, plugin and Business rule with scope as Entity.

I would like my workflow to execute first then my plugin and last my business rules should execute.

Is this possible?

I know we can set execution order of the plugin and workflow but how do we set execution order of the business rules.

Thanks,

Bipin

    Hello @bipinshan

As per OOB Behavior there is some place available to set Execution Order for Plugins or Workflow.

I tried Searching but unfortunately i cannot find a place to change the same for Business Rule

    Note:

its like on Load of Page how come we cannot change JavaScript / Business Rule trigger first.

Lets wait for other comments too 🙂

    Hi,

Please refer to this tool available on xrmToolBox: https://www.xrmtoolbox.com/plugins/MsCrmTools.SynchronousEventOrderEditor/

I'm not sure if we'll be able to manage the order for business rules with scoop entity.

If you really want to have full control over your executions, I recommend you to switch to Workflows and Plugins.

    Good Luck !!

Yes you can control wich is executed fist with the XrmToolBox  -MsCrmTools.SynchronousEventOrderEditor

in this case i changed the plugin to run after the Business rule :

This works and respect the order to get the plugin first set it -1 and if you want it after set to 2
this also can be defined when the plugin is created
Let me know if this helps.
