Copilot not summarising documents

Please Assist!!! I have installed Copilot. Last week it worked well. I could summarise documents when opening pdf in Edge. Now it says "This content is blocked. Contact the site owner to fix the issue." I have uninstalled, I have cleared cookies and cache, I have upgraded to Copilot Pro, logged out of Microsoft and logged in again. I have allowed all permissions. Please, please assist. Copilot still works when I ask random questions but i need it to assist with summarising documents.

    This forum is for building custom and extending Copilot. You would need to go to the Edge support forum. It appears a lot of people are complaining about the same thing so it would be best to monitor that forum for updates.

    Try the following:
    • Open Microsoft Edge.
    • Click on the three dots in the upper-right corner and select Settings.
    • Navigate to Sidebar > Copilot.
    • Confirm that the option "Allow Microsoft to access page content" is enabled.

    This type of issue with document summarization in Copilot for Edge often relates to permission configurations or recent updates in browser or Copilot settings.

    Since clearing cache and cookies didn’t resolve the issue, try fully resetting Edge settings to their default. Go to Settings > Reset settings > Restore settings to their default values. Restart Edge and test the summarization function.

    Go to Settings > Cookies and site permissions > All sites, locate Copilot, and ensure permissions like “Allow access to file URLs” and “Allow pop-ups” are enabled.
