I was trying to use data from excel (columns are simple - Date and sales). it is able to retrieve the data for a particular date. but not able to aggregate the data and tell me the sales by month or year.
there are some limitations currently on how the model in Copilot Studio is working, compared to custom GPT from OpenAI, just as an example. One of the limitations is that it's not able to analyze the data yet. I'd suggest that you could try Copilot for Excel or M365 Copilot to achieve the results.
