I have recently built a simple HR chatbot in Co-Pilot Studio and successfully deployed the chatbot to Microsoft Teams for testing with a small group of users who had no problem interacting with the BOT. I have recently tried to deploy the Chatbot to SharePoint using the new feature in the Co-Pilot studio UI.
Upon trying to open the bot in the SharePoint Site I get a black screen with a message stating that I need a Microsoft Co-pilot 365 license to view the BOT in Sharepoint.
I'm a right in saying any users in my organisation can ask the Bot Questions in Teams but to ask questions of a BOT embedded in SharePoint they need to Microsoft 365 licence? I ran this through chat GPT and it gave me a mixture of responses both saying it was free to use and there is a cost associated.
I believe the licences are £299 per user per year and this would be far too expensive for us to roll out.
Could someone please clear this up for me, it would be a shame for the BOT to just be limited to Microsoft teams.
Not all M365 licenses are the same, and sharepoint can be used in some as an addon not specifically directly embed supported.
So without knowing exactly what licenses you have, the configuration for the user assigned, addons etc, its hard to tell you.
